William King, on 4 June 2019, signed a Business Purchase Agreement with Tata Steel for the acquisition of Tata Steel’s Firsteel business. Firsteel is a market leading metal coating business supplying into the bakeware, automotive and general industry sectors.
William King Ltd is a leading European independent metals service centre, with operations both in the UK and Central Europe.
For William King, the acquisition builds on and expands our group’s strategy to add value with metals across a range of market sectors.
Firsteel will operate as a stand-alone business, led by its experienced management team together with its skilled employee base.
